Employment Liability Insurance Should I Buy $500K Limit For $4800/Yr. Or $1M Limit For $7400/Yr. Of Employment Practices Liability Insurance?

Should I buy $500K limit for $4800/Yr. or $1M limit for $7400/Yr. of Employment Practices Liability Insurance? - employment liability insurance

I own a small bakery, shops, 2 cafes in Orange County, California. I want to buy Employment Practices Liability Insurance. I have 2 offers and decide on the policy should pay more than $ 500k, or an additional $ 2400/Yr. for the policy limit of 1 million U.S. dollars.
I do not want overinsure and pay unnecessarily for additional coverage.
I was informed by the broker over 90% of the complaints, the variety of nuisances and disappear in a few months. The defense costs as they are around $ 10K-$ 25K.
However, the average cost was a lawyer, whether a process between $ 250K and $ 300K, the balance remaining for the study if they lose during the trial.
The estimated value of 2 coffee $ 2 and there is an S-Coprates.
Any advice or recommendation is appreciated. Thank you.
